Chain necklace and flower earrings




The first crochet jewelry i made and i just decorate with pendant on it.
I love it!







For the necklace pattern

You need:
2.5mm hook
cotton yarn
piece of necklace pendant, whatever you desire, you can even decorate beads on it.
buttons

Lets begin:
Chain 68 or more, measure your work ( this size is for toddler)
sc in the 9th chain from hook, this gonna be your buttonhole
sc in every st, across.

Ch1 and turn
sc in the next 4 sts.,
* Ch4, skip next st.,
    sc next st, repeat* until the end.
slip stitch in the first chain then fasten off.





                                        





For the flower earrings

2.5mm hook
2 pieces gold earrings wire
cotton yarn

Ch5, Join with slip stitch to form a ring

R1:  Ch 3 and Ch3 again, into the ring, 3dc, ch3, 3dc until you have 5 petals.
         for the 5th petals, work 2dc then slip stitch to the 3rd chain.

R2 : Ch1, to the next space, work  *sc,hdc,5dc,hdc then sc.
         repeat * for the next space. slip stitch to the first chain, fasten off.

Beautiful Summer Hat


I  made this hat last December 2015 and my daughter loves it, 
fit with her mini crochet skirt, and a 
crochet blouse
so proud how it turned out :)






My first attempt was in cotton, 
looks good but not quite right for me :)


 So, i tried again, using acrylic but soft yarn, and i made it perfect :)
with my owned decorations :) using 4.5mm hook.

For the BRIM:

I always used the brim from
Louise of


sc rows:

R1 : Ch1, sc same st., sc around and slip st.,
R2: Ch1, sc same space then sc all around. slip st.
R3: Ch1, sc same space then sc next sc
2sc next sc repeat then sl., st.,

BRIM:

R1: Ch3, Fpdc same space, ch1, dc next sc then
Fpdc into same sc then continue:
*ch1, dc next sc, Fpdc same sc repeat  and sl., st.

R2: Ch3, Fpdc top of fpdc, then continue
*Ch1, dc top of dc, Fpdc top of Fpdc, repeat*
then sl.st

repeat until you have your desire length, i always end up 5 rows
sc around then finish off, weave ends

Flowers decorations for hat



This is a simple crochet flowers easy to decorate your hats.

I used 4.5mm hook
4 season soft yarn 8 ply
beads






For the pattern:

R1:  using magic circle, ch2
        6 sc into the ring, slip stitch

R2:  Ch4 or more , slip stitch same st
        slip stitch next st, ch4 or more,
        slip stitch same st. repeat
       slip stitch into first chain to close.





 

For the leaves

Ch10
sc 2nd chain from hook
hdc next chain
dc next chain
tr next 3 chains
dc next chain
hdc next chain
sc last chain, fasten off

How to crochet Brick stitch


A beautiful stitch called Brick stitch, so many possibilities and it is A beautiful stitch.
It can be scarf, cowl or anything you fancy.

I used 5mm hook in color green, next time I will do it in a different color.
for my yarn, it's 8ply 4 season stallion ( soft yarn).




















Here it is:

Chain divisible by 9 plus 2 and plus 2 extra
( I did chain 22 including the extra 4 chain)

Row 1 :  1dc into 4th chain from hook
               1dc into each of next 2 sts.
              * Ch2, skip next st.., 1sc into next chain
                 Ch2, skip next st.,
                 1dc into each of next 6 sts., rep from* to end
                  ending with 1dc in each of next 4 sts.
                turn your work

















Row 2: Sl. st., into space between first 2dc,
work 1sc into same space.

















* Ch3, skip 3dc, 1sc into next ch2 space,twice
   Ch3, 1sc between 3rd and 4th of next 6 dc, (Middle)
   repeat from *
   to end working last sc between last dc and first ch3.
   Turn your work.

















Row 3: Ch3, count as first dc
             *3dc into next ch3 space
              ch2, 1sc next ch3 space, ch2,
              3dc into next ch3 space
               repeat from* to end.
              1dc into ss of previous row.





















repeat row 2 and 3 until you have your desired length.

Shell stitch headband

1-3 years                     18-20”                              15-17”

3-12 years                   20-22”                              17-18”

Teen/Adult                  22-24”                              18-20”


Materials:
5mm hook
4 seasons “soft yarn”8 ply
Buttons for securing the headband and to use for flower (optional)

I did the adult headband, I chain 80 or measure your head, (a little bit loose for me) but I will try different sizes above.

For newborn and the rest of the sizes, just measure your work and follow the steps as long as your chain divisible by 2.

For newborn size:  Ch44 + 1
For 1-3 years old chain 74 plus 1















Hdc 2nd hook from the chain  and hdc across
Working in rounds
Ch3, 2dc same space (small shell made)
skip 2 sts*
3dc next st. , skip 2sts., 3dc next st, repeat until the end of the row.
slip stitch to the same space of the last row.

ch5, sl. st to the opposite side  and start working the 3dc ( small shell stitch)

Ch3, 2dc same space
skip 2 stitches, 3dc next stitch  make sure level with the other shell side until the end of the row, sl. st.

fasten of, leaving long tail for sewing buttons, weave end.

*sew the button tightly.

Note: If you have 2 rows left space in the last row, just skip 1 and work the 3dc shell stitch.















you should end your last row like this and weave ends. 

For the flowers decorations, you can choose your own or you can follow mine :)

For the popcorn flower 

Magic ring
12 sc in the ring
ch2, 5dc in each stitch, then connect from first to last st 

then chain to secure and work next stitch until the end. sl, st. add button in the middle.





for the white flower:

Using magic ring
Ch2, 6 sc into the ring
ch6, sl. st same st, sl. st to the next st
ch6 sl. st same st., repeat 4 more times
sl. st next st
ch6, sl. st to the first ch to close.

Pineapple Stitch Earrings


This is a beautiful earrings for any occasions


Materials needed:

2.5mm hook
cotton thread
small pliers
scissor
yarn needle
2 pcs. gold earrings wire


Here is the pattern:



     
Ch5, sl st. to form a ring

Row1 : Ch2, 2dc, ch2, 3dc into the ring
             Ch4, 3dc, ch2, 3dc same space

Row2 : Turn, sl. st to the first ch2 space
             ch2, 2dc, ch2, 3dc same space

             ch2, dc next ch4 space
             ch2, next of ch2 space, work, 3dc, ch2, 
3dc same space
              turn





Row3 : Sl. st. to the first ch2 space
             Ch2, 2dc, ch2, 
         3dc same space

            ch2, 3dc next dc in the middle
 


       ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc next ch2 space, turn.




Row4 : Sl. st to the ch2 space
             ch2, 2dc, ch2, 3dc same space

            ch2, dc next dc,
            dc next, ch3, dc same space
            dc last dc

turn.

Row9:  Sl. st to the ch2 space, 
work ch2, 2dc, ch2, 3dc
             ch4, skip sc, sc next 3sc, ch4, 
3dc, ch2, 3dc same space turn

Row10 : Sl. st to the ch2 space
               ch2, 2dc, ch2, 3dc same space

               Treble crochet in the middle st.




3dc, ch2, 3dc  next space

Row 11 : sl. st to the space
               ch2, 2dc - continue to the opposite space,
               work 2dc to connect



sc to the first st. turn, fasten off.
repeat for the 2nd pineapple earring.

connect your gold earring wire by using small pliers
 if necessary and you're all done.

Cloche hat Brim with Flower






Materials I used:

4 seasons stallion 8 ply 100% -100g  "soft yarn" red
6.00mm hook or you can use 5.00mm
scissor
needle for weaving

This is a simple cloche hat i just made took me two hours but its worth it.

For the body of the hat I used

When i reached round 18 i changed the brim into

 sc rows:

R1 - Ch1, sc same st., sc around. sl st.
R2 - Ch1, sc same space, then sc
R3 - Ch1, sc same space then sc next sc, 2 sc next sc and continue as follows:
        sc, sc, 2sc around then sl. st.
